Baauer links with Pusha T and Future on his rowdy new single, "Kung Fu." A bombastic beat from Baauer is the perfect backdrop for Pusha to absolutely rip, and Future comes through with a catchy hook. The song debuted on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, who also hopped on the phone with the savant producer to talk about his latest release. "First I was working with Pusha on his project just giving him some beats and working on some songs and this kind of came through that. And I managed to get it on my album." On whether he thinks this track is a standout, Baauer told Zane "without a doubt." He added, "this is one of the missiles. This is one of the ones that I guarantee is going to make some kind of noise."
Baauer also opened up about his forthcoming album, Aa. "It was just taking time to bring together a bunch of projects I was working on, a bunch of tunes I was working on, to the point where I had a nice body of work." He also revealed he has an MIA and G-Dragon collaboration that will be on the new album. More recently, Baauer contributed to the Star Wars Headspace soundtrack that was executive produced by musical yoda Rick Rubin. "I was honored to do it."
