Watch Tiggs Da Author And Lady Leshurr Tear It Up On "Run"

"Run, run, run, run, run..."

Tiggs Da Author and Lady Leshurr's new single, "Run" (out Feb. 26), has just received the lyric video treatment—but there's every chance you're already familiar with it. After debuting the track live on Jools Holland, it was quickly picked up to be included on FIFA 16 as well as being the soundbed for ITV's 2015 Rugby World Cup trailer.

Tiggs cites Ray CharlesFinlay Quaye and Andre 3000 as influences, and each one's influence can be seen in the way he presents himself a musician. And that's all without mentioning Lady Leshurr, who switches up her style for a faster dancehall style and draws on her love of Sister Nancy. "The song is about escaping your troubles and just getting away from certain situations and not letting life's little dramas bring you down," Tiggs explained. "Sometimes it's better to just run! It's always great to collaborate with an amazing artist like Lady Leshurr but it's even better when you're friends. We've known each other for a long time and she nailed it."
