Despite false rumors going around, Kanye West has no plans to make a cover album of the late David Bowie's greatest hits, according to TMZ. The fake rumor apparently started with a British tabloid and then spread to the point where fans launched a petition to try and stop Kanye from making the album. The petition, which had over 5,000 signatures, was all for not though, as 'Ye's reps told TMZ that he never had any intentions to make a Bowie cover album. Kanye, who is releasing his own SWISH album next month, tweeted about Bowie's inspiration on his career shortly after Bowie's death earlier this month. "He gave us magic for a lifetime," Kanye wrote in the tweet.
