According to a report from AllHipHopBoosie Badazz and C-Murder will be releasing a joint album on April 15 entitled Penitentiary Chances. The news came courtesy of C-Murder's TRU-Bossalinie Records artist Vs, who told the website "That’s just them two linking up on an album, doing something they always wanted to do, but never got a chance to do. By them both being incarcerated, they had time to put their heads together and come up with a project." The rapper says he will appear on two songs, "This Ain't Living" with Boosie, and "Strapped Up" with both Boosie and C-Murder. 

The rappers were incarcerated together in Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. According to the report, Boosie was released in 2014 after serving almost five years for drug charges and probation violations, while C-Murder remains incarcerated on a 2009 murder charge. He maintains his innocence. Penitentiary Chances is set to drop April 15. Before that, Boosie is set to drop a new solo album on February 1 entitled Out My Feelings (In My Past)The Louisiana rapper suffered a cancer scare late last year, but was recently declared cancer-free after surgery.
