With 2015 wrapping up, MTV called on the always entertaining Vince Staples to discuss some of the biggest moments in rap from the year. Of course, Staples brought some humor and lightheartedness to every topic brought up. Notably, Staples talked about the Birdman and Lil Wayne drama, and how he didn't see it as a negative situation. Staples said that he loves Weezy, but that he's probably too old to use Twitter and that Carter V would be out right now if he wouldn't have tweeted about his displeasure with Birdman to start with. While Staples said he doesn't know Wayne's exact contract situation with Cash Money, he did admit that he wants another "Lollipop" from Weezy.

Staples also weighed in on the Drake and Meek Mill drama, and said that he doesn't care if rappers write their own verses as long as it's good. "It does matter on a personal level, but it's not life or death," Staples said on ghostwriting. The overlying theme of Staples' thoughts on the year were that Twitter is to blame and that "Everybody hates everybody" at record labels. Oh, and that we all need more Adele. Spot on, Vince.
