As we are nearing the last days of 2015, Diplo has joined many other artists in reflecting on their accomplishments and milestones this year.
Diplo has had an incredible year. He’s worked with Justin Bieber and Madonna to create some big records that have topped the charts. From his MajorLazer side project, “Lean On,” which features DJ Snake and MØ, is named the most streamed song of all time on Spotify. Jack Ü's "Where Are Ü Now" is a perfect marriage of EDM and pop that hopefully we see more of in 2016. Oh, we didn’t forget to mention his nominations for the 2016 Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year, Dance Recording (“Where Are U Now”), and Dance/Electronic Album (his collaboration project with Skrillex, Jack Ü).
With some down time between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Diplo has spent the last few days posting his top moments on Facebook. He thanks the people who have gotten him here today, and wishes for another successful year in 2016. You can read them below.
