Detroit-native Amir Obe has been making plenty of noise in 2015, and he now caps off his year with the release of his new project, Happening In the Grey Area. Along with the new music, Obe talked with Billboard about his relationship with Drake, possibly working with Big Sean, and much more.
On linking with OVO, Obe said that the connection on "Star67" came from him sending music to Drake's manager, Oliver El-Khatib, and Drizzy eventually picking out that particular beat. Though Obe's relationship with OVO continues to grow, he said that as of now he's not officially signed to the roster. Obe's new project, which includes two with PARTYNEXTDOOR, can be streamed below.
