Waka Flocka Flame's familiarly troublesome relationship with Atlantic Records flared up today when the Atlanta rapper Tweeted a call to arms for his fans to "demand" the label release his album Flockaveli 2. The tactic harks back to Lupe Fiasco's successful fan bid for the same label to release his Lasers album in 2011

Last month, Waka Flocka took to Twitter and blasted Atlantic, writing, "I fucking hate my label," and "LET ME BUY OUT." He later added, "Corporate laws require that corporations be structured into classes of superiors and subordinates within a centralized pyramidal structure...Unlike the freedoms of an entrepreneurial business, large company decision-making must pass through layer upon layer of management. This makes the process of product development slow and ponderous...Furthermore, high executive turnover and frequent management 'purges' at large record companies can often delay or even derail a recording project indefinitely, leaving artists in the lurch."

Earlier tonight he continued with the criticism before providing a phone number for fans to call to "demand" the release.
