Prince is set to embark on an intimate solo tour of Europe, according to the Guardian, an announcement the singer made at a press conference in Minneapolis over the weekend. While any news of Prince touring should excite fans, this time around it's a little different as the tour, reportedly titled "The Prince Spotlight: Piano & A Microphone," will feature stripped-down performances from the artist sans his usual band 3rdEyeGirl.
The short tour seems ready to kick off in Austria on November 21st with rumors of several dates in both the UK and continental Europe expected thereafter. Prince reportedly said of the planned solo piano tour: "It's a challenge. I rarely get bad reviews because this is something that's been perfected for over thirty years."
