According to a new report from Forbes, Katy Perry is 2015's "top-earning woman in the music business" with $135 million earned in a single fiscal year. The enormous payout stems in large part from her soon-to-end "Prismatic World Tour," a jaunt around the globe that's grossed Perry more than $2 million per city spread out over 126 shows. On top of the music, Perry also has a trio of deals with Covergirl, Claire's, and Coty that is obviously paying big.
"I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company," the "I Kissed A Girl" singer told Forbes earlier this year. "I'm an entrepreneur...I don't want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls."
As forTaylor Swift? She's doing just fine at the No. 2 position after earning some $80 million this year, most of it also due to her own epic world tour. Lady Gaga ranks fourth on the list with a $59 million payout, and Beyonce arrived at fifth with $54.5 million.
