This morning, Usher rolled out his new song titled "Chains" featuring Nas and Bibi Bourelly via an interactive video on Tidal. The song and video shines a light on the many victims of police brutality and is available to everyone, not just members of the streaming service. The video uses facial recognition software to help engage fans through the use of the stirring images of notable police brutality victims, while the powerful lyrics hit in a major way.

Usher will perform the single for the first time at the upcoming Tidal X 1020 benefit concert next week at Barclays Center, with all of the proceeds from the single going towards a social justice organization. "In writing this song, I was motivated by the events involving prejudicial injustice that are still happening today," Usher said. "The reality is that racial bigotry diminishes the lives of too many people in our country. We have to come together as a country to solve these problems and this is one way I can contribute."
