UPDATE: T.I. went to his Twitter to apologize for his comments about Hillary Clinton and a woman running for President, and said that he was wrong.

My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong. I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended.

Hustle Gang is a strange bunch of lablemates, including T.I., Iggy Azalea, and Travi$ Scott. After a year of defending Iggy from charges of cultural appropriation and insensitivity to the civil rights movement, T.I. is now addressing certain difficulties in mentoring Scott. In a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid, T.I. called Scott "difficult" and "passionate," suggesting that he and Iggy Azalea have more in common that many observers might assume. "That man is Iggy in a black man's body," T.I. said about Scott.

T.I. and Whoo Kid discussed the matter at length, with T.I. suggesting that Scott is a preternatural hardhead with whom he's repeatedly clashed behind the scenes. "Travis Scott accepts no advice nor instruction from the likes of me," T.I. said. "Only thing I can take credit for is recognizing his talent and putting him in a position where he can put music out."

In broader discussion of his own recent projects, T.I. addressed his backlog of collaborative mixtapes with Young Thug, Jeezy, Usher, and B.o.B., saying that he's "ready" and "in [the studio], for real," but that conflicting schedules and obligations have derailed the fruition of these projects. And in a somewhat random discussion of Kanye West and Donald Trump's respective presidential bids, T.I. said he wouldn't vote for either candidate in this election year or the next, though he conceded that Trump is a great showman.

T.I. also said that "the world ain't ready" for a female president, despite there already being several women who currently serve, and have previously served, as heads of state abroad. “I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman," T.I. told DJ Whoo Kid, who referred to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as "a big vagina."
