Brolin is a man of very few words. Not one to shout about his music, or indeed himself, he prefers to let his music speak for itself. It's an approach that's worked pretty well for him in the past. The producer seems to be continuing that approach with his new album The Delta (out Oct. 30) and its lead single, "Nightdriving", because why mess with such a successful strategy? To back the single up, Brolin has recruited German house duo Kruse & Nuernberg to switch up the vibe. The result is just over six minutes of deep, luxurious house music that you can truly get lost in. The rich, organic textures are the star of the show, which frame Brolin's mercurial vocal samples that float through the track just out of reach. With a sizeable amount of input coming from Ninja Tune's Raffertie, you can be sure The Delta is going to be a memorable release.
