Lil Wayne's 'No Ceilings 2' Will Be Releasing on Thanksgiving

Wayne was recently in the studio cutting what sounded like a remix of Drake's "Back to Back."

UPDATE (11/02/15): It looks like the rumors are true. Wayne shared the artwork of No Ceilings 2 last night. It's his third free release this year following Free Weezy Album and Sorry 4 The Wait 2.

When footage of Lil Wayneapparently working on a remix of Drake's "Back to Back" surfaced earlier this week, the internet quickly decided to speculate as to what exactly Weezy was doing. Additional work on the much-delayed Carter V seemed unlikely, though plenty continued to offer that exact theory. At a recent club appearance, Wayne unveiled a verse over Future's "Where Ya At," with DJ E-Feezy sharing footage of the performance with HipHop-N-More alongside the caption "We can officially say No Ceilings 2 is on the way."

The original No Ceilings celebrates its sixth anniversary today, so the timing is perfect to start hyping a possible sequel. Though Wayne hasn't confirmed the sequel, or any project, just yet, he's clearly cooking up something with an imminent release.
