Having returned to their rave roots with Special Request's Modern Warfare EP, XL are continuing that run with the debut 12" EP from rising techno producer Hugo Massien. 2015's already been a pretty strong year for Massien, having made his Warehouse Project debut, and this new Kontrol EP (out Oct. 30) looks set to strengthen his rise to the top. Equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking, EP highlight "All Night" is a techno rumbler for the ages that reminds us all just how strong XL's ear for a good, classic rave tune can be.
