Frank Ocean left us all crying on the internet when his promised new album never arrived. As if the pain wasn't deep enough, Frank's brother cut us harder when he pulled off an immaculate act of trolling. Then Frank got in the action when he updated his website and uploaded old songs on Spotify leaving Twitter to tears once again.
Today, there is some hope though, which comess from a new interview that possibly provides evidence that Frank has been in the studio working with French DJ/producer SebastiAn. French magazine Les in Rocks spoke with the founder of SebastiAn's Ed Banger label, Pedro Winter, who revealed "SebastiAn just finished production on a few pieces for Frank Ocean—a truly exciting collaboration—and then he will finally be able to turn to his second album."
In a confusing turn of events, Winter downplayed his statement telling The FADER "SebastiAn met Frank Ocean few times, that's all we know. For further info please contact Frank's management." It's possible the label head simply got it wrong the first time around, or he broadcasted information that Frank didn't want out yet. A rep for Ocean could neither confirm or deny that the two have worked together.
