Last weekend, Drake announced that the video for "Hotline Bling" would arrive this week, and while fans are still waiting, he posted about the ongoing success of the song on his Instagram last night. The post was a screenshot of a Billboard report saying that the song could reach No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart next week, which would be Drake's first solo song to ever reach that feat. The song currently sits at the No. 2 position, and many believe that with the push from the video, it will climb to No. 1 in no time.

Drake seems to be already celebrating though, as he mentioned in the caption that the song reaching the top spot during the month of October would be the biggest moment of his career thus far. "I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you...even if it doesn't," Drake wrote. Whether or not the song reaches No. 1 remains to be seen, but Drake is ready to enjoy the moment no matter what. Read his full post below.

I spend my life trying to make waves for the city I am from. No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one. If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool. I love you and thank you for these memories. I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you...even if it doesn't.
