Damon Albarn has confirmed that a new Gorillaz album is in the works during an interview with Rolling Stone. Meanwhile, Albarn also dished on his work with Blur, saying he avoids touring with the band "like the plague" before admitting he's actually been having "the best time" onstage during recent shows.

Albarn also offered some juicier commentary on current artists like DrakeFuture, and Kanye West. Of the Toronto rapper, Albarn said, "he's not as consistent as he could be," a far cry from the compliment he offered Future, who he called, "really interesting, and sometimes exhilarating." As for Ye? The Gorillaz co-founder stated the obvious: "I think he's pretty unique."
