Having only released their debut single "Deeper" back in March, garage-influenced producers Solsine are already back with a new single, "Proton". Solsine isn't the first incarnation of the London pair—in fact, they've worked under a number of different monikers throughout their career, performing for Kiss and NME and supporting their long-time friends Laura Mvula and Ella Eyre. On "Proton" they draft in singer Brownie and rapper Santego to craft a track that pays its due to classic UKG sounds, updated with Brownie's haunting vocals and Santego's frenetic rapping. For the remix, which you can hear below, Brighton bass producer Moony strips things right back to the bare garage essentials. Remember the old adage: less is more.
