If you're familiar with the Awful Records family, you know they're all constantly churning out their own music almost on a near weekly basis these days. Today, Ethereal premieres his new video for "Bump," which features the inimitable Lord Narf, too.
Ethereal partnered up with Pomp and Clout for the insane 3D CGI video off Final Fantasy. "We got together with Pomp and Clout to try and make three really innovative visuals: KCSB's 'Always 1' 360 interactive video, Father's 'Who's Gonna Get Fucked First' POV cam video and this one for 'Bump' featuring Lord Narf which is a virtual reality emulation of 'The Barrio,' Awful's home base at one time."
He says they wanted to step out of the box to match the "tripped out, glitchy vibe of the track and the feel of an old Final Fantasy game." The "Bump" video was created with a number of 3D scans, motion capture with an XBox Kinect, and more 3D animation.
