Tyrese Is Fighting For R&B, Gets Cited During Protest At iHeartRadio

Tyrese is too real.

Tyrese, who recently had the No. 1 album in the country, is still fighting for the state of R&B, and recently held an impromptu protest outside of the iHeart radio station earlier this week. During the incident, Tyrese said that if he single was made by Justin TimberlakeSam Smith, or Robin Thicke, it would get more spins on the radio, and that he just wanted to have his song heard.

Eventually, the cops showed up to the scene and issued Tyrese a citation for blocking traffic, and as you can see from his Instagram post above, a total of eight police cars were there to speak with him. "I want my music to be heard by everyone in the world. Look around," Tyrese said. "I see every color in the rainbow. Music has no limits, music has no sexual boundaries, music is supposed to be heard by everyone around the world."
