A new survey by Billboard, which anonymously polled 50 "top music executives," shows that they really, really love Taylor Swift. Swift not only received a 70 percent yes rating when the execs were asked if they root for her, but she was also the most picked artist when they were asked who they would start a label with. Lady Gaga and Adele finished second and third behind Swift in that category. Gaga was also named as the the top artist who should be running a label, but isn't.

On the topic of streaming services, 54 percent of the execs said that if they were offered the same amount of money from both, they would choose to work at Apple over Spotify. 71 percent also said they believe Jay Z's streaming service, Tidal, will last under a year. When asked about what type of music they despise the most, rap came in first, with EDM and pop coming in second and third. The sample size for the survey was quite small, but hip-hop was getting no love throughout.

Interestingly enough, music manager Irving Azoff, who topped Billboard's music power list in 2012, slammed the recent survey in an interview with the New York Post. "If Billboard wants to survey the music industry, they should ask people in the biz what they think about their publication," Azoff said. Billboard has yet to respond for comments on the actual survey and how it was put together, but they did reply to Azoff's comments. "We are aware of the personal grousings of Irving Azoff about Billboard and are sorry he won’t be filling out the survey," they said in a statement.
