Famed D&B producer, Netsky, is today sharing a Scales remix of his forthcoming album's first single, "Rio". Equal parts deep house and D&B, it's just dripping in summery vibes, which is for the best considering we're fast approaching the end of the season. The original, featuring Digital Farm Animals, was a brass-led D&B jaunt with a healthy dose of low-end thrown in for good measure, and plenty of sunshine vibes. But Scales' edit shifts the balance somewhat. The sunniness is still there, but the drum & bass elements have been pushed into secondary position to make space for a thumping deep house beat. The end result is a surprisingly unique blend of the two genres, and one that we wouldn't mind seeing a lot more of. Especially when it's raining.
