MTV apparently loved Kanye West's speech after he won the "Vanguard Video Award," because they're reportedly considering him to host the awards next year. According to TMZ, MTV was so enamored by the speech, which even took shots at the network, that they allowed 'Ye to go over his two minute time limit and speak for as long as he wanted because it was so entertaining.
No word yet on if Kanye would be interested in the gig, especially since he doesn't really like award shows at all, but the partnership is apparently "On the table." After Miley Cyrus, it seems like MTV can only go up from here with hosts, and there is no doubt that Kanye would be the most entertaining choice.
