The Game's 'The Documentary 2' Sounds Fire So Far

The Compton vet previews a new track featuring Kendrick Lamar.

The Game potentially got one with “100” featuring Drake, which is the latest single to appear on his long-awaited The Documentary 2. Even though he’s been leaking information here and there about the LP, this glimpse of a recent studio session with Skeme, Joe Moses and Jay 305 indicates that it’ll be worth the wait.

One of the Compton rapper’s affiliates uploaded footage of a packed gathering in the studio while they were playing a new Kendrick feature in the background. The Game's been supportive of K. Dot’s rise throughout his whole career, even stating that he encouraged him to change his name to his moniker now. They’ve worked on several songs together, including their most famous one, “The City,” off 2011’s The R.E.D. Album.

So far, The Documentary 2 will feature DeJ Loaf (“Ryda”), Meek Mill (“The Soundtrack”) and maybe Migos (“Everybody on the Floor”). He’s promised production from some of the returning contributors Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Kanye West and Scott Storch, as well as others like Pharrell, Alchemist and DJ Premier. Originally, the album was supposed to drop on the 10th anniversary of The Documentary on Jan. 18, but has been pushed to June 30 and now sometime in August.

We hope The Game continues to tease more heat from The Documentary 2. But, of course, you can always scroll through his Instagram for some entertaining hashtags.
