With his breakout single "Poppin" still making the rounds, Rico Richie was reportedly arrested in Atlanta yesterday after being found with an illegal firearm in a recording studio with connections to Young Thug. According to TMZ, Richie was arrested on Wednesday for the gun possession and a marijuana charge at the same location where Young Thug filmed his "Halftime" video. The site reports that police were actually continuing an ongoing investigation into Young Thug—in which the "Halftime" video has been submitted for evidence—when they found Richie instead. TMZ also reports that Richie, whose "Poppin" single was remixed by Meek Mill, Chris Brown, and French Montana last month, has previous felonies on his record.
