'Fantastic Four' Will Feature New Music From El-P

'Fantastic Four' director Josh Trank unleashed the news on Friday.

As the world at large continues to clamor for any sign of Meow The Jewels' imminent release, brief respite can be found in the news that one half of Run the Jewels will soon release new music in the most cinematic way possible — the forthcoming Fantastic Four reboot. As confirmed by director Josh Trank on Friday, El-P scored the end credits for the third entry in the Marvel franchise. El-P also confirmed the news with what appears to be a (likely unintentional?) hint at the status of Meow The Jewels:

Since the release of their widely acclaimed Run the Jewels 2 in 2014, the individual and collective stars of El-P and fellow jewel runner Killer Mike have risen to astronomical heights. Their latest collaborative endeavor, their own Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music, speaks volumes on the power of the ever-increasing Jewels brand — political consciousness with an occasional flare for the absurd (i.e. Meow the Jewels).

Fantastic Four — starring Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell — opens on August 7.
