Miley Cyrus took to Instagram last night to announce her gig hosting this year's MTV VMAs. Yes, the same show that she made famous for twerking on Robin Thicke to open the shwo two years ago is bringing her back to host the whole thing. In the singer's own words, "MTV won't let me perform... So I'm hosting this year's VMAs." With last year's VMAS featuring a much more subdued Miley who had her friend - Jessie, a homeless teen runaway - accept an award on her behalf to highlight the prevalent issue of teen homelessness. With Miley launching her Happy Hippie Foundation to rally injustice facing homeless and LGBT youth along with working on new music, it's clear we can expect a giving and entertaining Miley to go out with a bangerz.

This year's VMA nominees were just announced on the Beats 1 “Charts” show on Apple Music hosted by Brooke Reece and Travis Mills. Check out the full list of nominees below and start voting for your choices now over at MTV. The 2015 VMAs will air live from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater at 9 p.m. ET, on Sunday, August 30.
