Tidal continues to integrate new and improved features to their service, which now includes a full desktop app that works for both Mac and PC users. This is a clear upgrade on the service, which only featured a web app when it was officially relaunched in March. Along with the seamless playback on the app, it also features full AirPlay support, which means users can wirelessly stream music to their Apple devices.

Additionally, Tidal announced a new venture with Ticketmaster to make it easier for Tidal users to purchase tickets for concerts on the actual service. The new partnership also includes a feature to show an artists upcoming tour dates right on the site and allow fans to purchase the tickets immediately. At an attempt to combat their competitors, Tidal also announced a new program to lower prices for students down to $4.99 per month rather than the standard $9.99/$19.99 a month.
