By now, most are well aware there are plenty of good times in Jamie xx's new solo album In Colour. In an unexpected move, Jamie xx's latest project includes scoring a ballet. The show titled Tree of Codes sees Jonathan Safran Foer's novel of the same name with inspiration from Polish writer Bruno Schulz's book "Street of Crocodiles" into a new fictional storyline that sets the basis for the ballet. The Manchester International Festival just posted a trailer soundtracked by "Pianna," a stark Jamie xx track consisting of somber and sparse piano keys that quickly builds high-soaring keys. It's easy to believe that I know there's gonna be more good times when the full Jamie xx score comes to light. In the meantime, watch the trailer above.
