With a new EP on the horizon, the OdD boys have shared a brief snippet of one of the tracks from the release entitled "Pyramid". By their own admission, the sound quality isn't great but the grainy, lo-fi hiss actually works quite well. It's a dark, snarling piece of techno with an emphasis on the balance between atmospherics and danceable club-focused techno that can often prove a difficult line to walk. Even with the low sound quality, it's pretty clear the duo have spent a long time honing their work in analogue, taking the road less traveled to give their music an indefinable quality that amply displays their love of both production and of music as a wider concept. "Pyramid" is taken from the Cosmic Energy EP which, via Sol Asylum, you can own from July 1.
