Leo Kalyan, who you might recognize from XO's "Pulling Me Under" late last year, has a new EP (Silver Linings) coming out on July 24 and he's just shared "Golden Age" with us. A softly-sung, breathy number, Kalyan uses a subdued production style, setting the track apart and keeping it from slipping into any sort of formula. "Golden Age" features densely-packed production and a hugely immersive wall of fluttering melodies, underwater bass and disembodied vocal snippets all interweaving and playing off on another. It's increasingly rewarding with each play, we can only hope the rest of the EP sounds like this.
