In a massive coup for UK music, Stormzy, Little Simz, Lethal Bizzle, Fuse ODG, FKA Twigs and MNEK have all been nominated for BET Awards in the category for Best International Act (UK). Elsewhere, Sam Smith was nominated for Best New Artist alongside some of the biggest stars in the States right now: Tinashe, Bobby Shmurda, Rae Sremmurd and Fetty Wap.
Last year, Krept & Konan won the Best International Act (UK), beating Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah. With grime and UK rap getting more and more attention from across the pond, it seems like 2015 is going to be a massive year for UK artists both here and abroad.
