Shamir has been bubbling since the release of his Northtown EP last summer, and next week he's set to capitalize on the attention by releasing his debut album, Ratchet. The anomalous singer-songwriter's 10-song effort, with a bonus track called "KC," is now available to stream a week early on iTunes Radio. It features eight now songs, in addition to the previously released "Darker," "Call It Off," and "On the Regular. "Darker" hinted at a gloomier, slower side of Shamir, but it's the only deviation on the album full of updated dance-pop (save for the acoustic bonus song).
Head to iTunes to stream Ratchet, and look out for it to release May 19.
