Miguel sat down with Real 92.3's Big Boy to discuss his new album, WildHeart, which is due our later this summer. During his forty minute interview, the singer dropped an incredible amount of knowledge and poetic statements. When asked to explain the title of his new single, "Coffee," he stated that "it is the logical conclusion to a night of lust rooted in honest connection." Deep. He went on to describe growing up in Los Angeles and being half black/half Latino. It appears that he is really excited to be a changing force in the world, especially in regards to motivating his "ethnic" brethren to act.
Miguel also talks about his controversial jump at the Billboard Music Awards, when he landed on a fan. He states that he was extremely defeated that night, because he doesn't take embarrassment well. However, the overall interview was light hearted. One of the best moments was when Big Boy freestyles, as Miguel beat boxed. If this whole singing thing doesn't work out for him, he may have a career as Doug E. Fresh impersonator. Check out the video above.
