MC Lyte is using Record Store Day as an opportunity to put out her first album in over 11 years.

The Brooklyn veteran is merging “the classic sound of what made her initially popular together with the new, edgy, compelling sounds of the 21st century” on Legend. The album is available only for one day in a limited edition vinyl collector’s item, but those who purchase the project will get a digital download code.

The album features previously released tracks “Cravin,” “Dear John,” and “Ball." It also will have guest appearances from Common, Faith Evans, Kenny Lattimore, CoKo, Mario, and more. Her last project was 2003's Da Undaground Heat, Vol. 1. Since then, she's been respected for her career achievements, recently winning the BET "I Am Hip Hop Icon" lifetime achievement award.
