Mannie Fresh recently sat down with Montreality to talk about his career, first big paycheck, things he hates about the industry, and much more. Of course, Mannie also talked about Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V album, which they worked together on, and said that he thinks fans will enjoy the vibe they went with. "We kinda went back to that original Cash Money feel, like you know what I'm saying, what you grew up on. Like, the Mannie Fresh sound that you knew Wayne and Mannie did, the chemistry. So it's more of that original, that first Carter.
Mannie also talked about his memories of Cash Money, but also said that they have to wait and see what happens with Wayne's upcoming album as far as to when it will be released. On Kanye West, Mannie said he respected Ye's passion in everything he does and said that he doesn't think there will ever be another Kanye West.
