Just like his album, I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside, Earl Sweatshirt's new project just came out of nowhere. Though only 10 minutes in length, Solace, is a new collection of music that is entirely dedicated to his mother, who he has a strained relationship with in the past. "We set up a studio at my house and I did a little project real real fast, it’s called Solace. And that, I’m just sitting — it’s more for my mom," Earl recently told NPR.
As mentioned on the YouTube where Earl uploaded the project, Earl says that he made this music when he hit the bottom, but found something from it. Stream Solace in full above.
