In the first installment of our interview series with The-Dream, the singer/songwriter/producer weighed in on the "Blurred Lines" verdict and reflected on how influential his sound has been for the past eight years. In part two, the Grammy-award winning artist who co-wrote and co-produced Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" and Jay Z's "Holy Grail," among others, discusses his working relationship with one of his favorite collaborators, Rihanna. She's at the forefront of every music fan's thoughts right now, as she just dropped her new single "Bitch Better Have My Money."

Likening himself to a filmmaker, The-Dream breaks down the experience of being on set with Rihanna, and the kind of "smoky, ratchet" atmosphere she cultivates when she's creating. He also talks about whether her album is, in fact, finished, and what he's had a hand in.

Oh, and he's speculates about the status of Kanye West's upcoming album, So Help Me God. (He thinks it's finished, fyi.)
