R. Kelly didn’t honor his commitment of performing in Texas. This is coming from a concert promoter based in the Lone Star State, who is suing R. Kelly for not returning the full deposit he was paid in January.

According to TMZ, Darryl Austin says he hand-delivered $100,000 deposit to the R&B singer’s team at the beginning of the year. The money was for him to secure a spot as a headliner for an April concert in Dallas. When February came and went, R. Kelly’s team claimed they were never aware of him performing a show.

As a result, Austin wanted his money back. Instead of getting the full amount, he received $70,000 that left $30,000 unaccounted for. He demands a court to make R. Kelly perform the concert or pay up what he's owed.
