"Kingdom Come" is a brilliant slice of R&B-tinged alt-pop from British newcomer, Damien Ike. A deeply personal and triumphant track, centered around its resounding chorus, the east London singer-songwriter has carved out a chart-ready ballad of epic proportion (Liverpool football player, Raheem Sterling, is also said to be a fan). Speaking to Complex on his debut single, Ike opened up, revealing its emotional and rather touching background: "'Kingdom Come' is about being in a world that changes you and expects you to be a certain way. But, really, no one will ever know you better than you know yourself; that's where you feel most home." We've got the first look of the polished official video for "Kingdom Come". Peep it above.
