It was previously reported that Suge Knight was on his way to meet with Dr. Dre before the fatal hit-and-run incident that left Knight's friend, Terry Carter, dead. Today, TMZ is reporting that the reason for the meeting between Knight and Dre had to do with Knight's portrayal in the upcoming N.W.A. film, Straight Outta Compton.

Knight was reportedly never consulted or asked permission to include his likeness in the film, and that led him to meet with Dre on set while they were filming the trailer. That meeting reportedly sparked a fight with Cle "Bone" Sloan that resulted in the fatal hit-and-run incident. In the film's first trailer, which you can view here, there's a character (who resembles Knight) beating someone up in the studio. Knight has since been charged with murder and is currently being held without bail until a later court date.
