Following on from the whirlwind success of his recent Wiley remix, Actress is back with an original called "NMMG". There's no concrete news on whether it forms part of a more substantial release, but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. The classic Actress drum sound (crushing, distorted percussion) forms the backbone of the track while a tornado of noise and sonic brutality swirls around it. At times, you'd also be forgiven for thinking "NMMG" is a live recording, with its lo-fi analogue fuzz and the vague hint of a roaring crowd, plunging you down the rabbit hole of your own fond memories of Friday nights in smoke-filled rooms.
