Joey Bada$$ tackles a number of serious, and relevant issues in his new video for "Like Me," which features BJ The Chicago Kid and appeared on his debut album, B4.DA.$$. In the video, Joey finds himself in the middle of a love triangle that leaves the two other people involved dead when Joey then finds himself running from the police and gunned down, though he was unarmed and had nothing to do with the previous shooting.

Though this just ends up being a dream, Joey still brings to light the killing of an unarmed black man at the hands of the police in the video that draws similarities to the cases of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. "In the video, the hot-headed guy, he gets killed by the police with a gun in his hand. And me, the cool guy, who is away from all the violence, I still end up being mixed in the loop—just being a victim because of my surroundings or where I'm from," Joey said to Mother Jones. Joey's debut album is currently available for purchase on iTunes here.
