Legendary hip-hop record store, Deal Real, will be returning for Record Store Day 2015 in April, though not permanently. Having found its original home on Soho's Marlborough Court in the early 2000s, the shop was forced to shut after just five years in 2007, despite being hailed as the place to by hip-hop records. It will find a new home as a pop up on Newburgh Street, just around the corner from its original home.

The word "legendary" is bandied about a lot but Deal Real truly lived up to its reputation. Besides selling records, the shop also played host to a weekly open mic night and regularly held one off shows and appearances from colossal names like Kanye West, Mos Def and John Legend, as well as then-emerging UK names like Doc Brown, Skinnyman, Tinchy Stryder and Estelle.

To carry on the tradition and its impressive legacy, the Deal Real pop-up will showcase talent from the worlds of music, fashion and the visual arts. There will also be a gallery of images chronicling the shop's finest moments and some of their key live performances.
