Miami rapper Ca$hy's Platinum Plus mixtape may be over a year old it's still getting heavy spins and the PurpDogg-produced "Next Level" just got the perfect visual treatment. To stay on par with his '80s persona and vibe, he headed to ZOO Miami—“a lot of the South Floridians remember the spot as “The Metro Zoo” and people would frequent it under that name back in the '90s and 2000’s—to film the video and take fans back in time. Director GFX Kid chose VHS style footage to keep it all the way vintage.
“I just wanted to show people like the lyrics 'Next Level, heavy metal…something next level that the world is not ready for,' he told Complex over email. "When I say 'I’m a stunner the whole summer.” That means I am a stunner forever. I’m on another level ahead of my time. 'Next Level' represents the impact on a new sound from my platinum plus tape."
