Hot damn! Boom Bap Festival, the UK's only real hip-hop-focused festival, has announced a frankly jaw-dropping line-up of premium-rate artists for its three-day event in June (5-7). Headliners Earl Sweatshirt, Ratking, Your Old Droog, Jeru the Damaja and Homeboy Sandman will join a roster of electronic supremos including fLako, Alexander Nut and Soulection residents IAMNOBI from Berlin, and London's Hannah Faith.

Other UK talents include Premo-endorsed avian crew, The Four Owls, who will bring the cast of High Focus records along for a label showcase. Lewis Parker (of Jehst-producing fame) drops in from New York, with Foreign Beggars, Skitz, Skinnyman, Genesis Elijah and Jam Baxter joining the party too. The sublime Fatima and her Eglo Records band will then provide some soulful relief after everyone's out-mashed themselves.

VIP ticket-holders get a Thursday night opening party just for them, featuring "intimate" performances from big UK names (we're thinking this could mean an exclusive performance by Dirty Dike of his never-released acoustic ballads album, but we could be wrong). Early bird tickets are already sold out, and since the festival is capped at 2,000 attendees, interested parties should probably get on that sharpish.
