Oakland rapper Bobby Brackins has been gone from being mostly in the background (having been featured on Ray J's controversial "I Hit It First") to having a surge of momentum from his bouncy single "Hot Box." Tonight he gets a little Bay Area love for the remix, with verses from IAMSU! and the legendary Too $hort (along with Mila J on the chorus), adding some more personality to the catchy ode to women, weed and cars. Brackins, who has writing credits on Chris Brown's "Loyal" and Tinashe's "2 On," sounds like a seasoned vet as he displays his charismatic delivery over the breezy west coast infused Redwine production. $hort gets to say his favorite word ("Bitch" of course) and IAMSU! does what he does best by using his creative flow to shout out the cities in the Bay.
