We were one of the first to show you Yitaku's debut EP a couple of months ago and he's back with some nu nu that we're premiering here today on DAD. "Lotus" continues his trek into the scope of video game oriented music with a ridiculously wavy and playful swing. The vibe levels are extremely high here while keeping the Nintendo feels close to the chest, and this young teenager showcases such a mature take on this type of sound, it's kind of baffling to me. Just count the number of movements that go on in this track in just over four minutes and change. Shocks me that a 15-year-old can have so many changes in a track like this and it never gets noodle-y or lost. This story here I feel just now starts to get interesting.
