PREMIERE: Motin & Siraz - "Tomahawk"

Though located in New York, we at Do Androids Dance pride ourselves on having a global perspective on the dance music scene and always have on eye on what's popping in other countries. Over the last year our eyes and ears have repeatedly been drawn in by the output of Hungarian label Babylon Records. Though based in Europe, their sound is very much global, incorporating aspects of music from across the continents, tied together by the spirit of dance.

Over time our love for this tiny jewel of a label has blossomed and we've already hit you with a number of their releases. This one, from Dresden, Germany-based producers Motin and Siraz, is a really cool global bass banger. It incorporates indigenous sounds from disparate corners of the globe and melds them together to create slice of rhythmic beauty with steady groove that is guaranteed to break down those pesky inhibitions. Should be available soon on their Bandcamp.
